Costain helps to improve people’s lives by deploying technology-based engineering solutions to meet urgent national needs across the UK’s energy, water and transportation infrastructures.
United Utilities (UU) have awarded a single 5-year framework agreement to provide overall management and execution of the larger-scale on-site asset maintenance activities across the North West region, including the provision and management of supplementary engineering services to manage and deliver diverse works, including the provision of a first-generation helpdesk. UU want to optimise the operation of their water, wastewater and energy production for effective and efficient management of their end-to-end system.
We require Civils Project Engineer with Site management experience to support the North region with focus on Non-Core planned project work and site assurance which is Civils related reservoir work, reporting to the Project Manager with emphasis on site safety and quality of work.
Individual project values will typically range between £10k - £3M. A Project Engineer is likely to deliver between 10 to 20 concurrent projects though that is depending on size and complexity.
The Project Engineer will develop key relationships with UU operational personnel, supply chain partners and promote a team spirit environment.
