    Costain's Energy Sector are looking for a Business Development Coordinator to join the team.  This role will be based from the Manchester Office however will require travel to other locations as required.

    What will I be doing?

    • Coordinate the Energy Sector input and use of information within Dynamics CRM
    • Chair the weekly Energy opportunity pursuit management meeting
    • Coordinate the Energy BD opportunity PCP process through gates 1-5 including communications with Natural Resources MD, Energy Sector Director, Commercial Director, BD, KADs and CWW stakeholders
    • Maintain the Midstream E1 pipeline information and work with Sector Director, BD and Commercial to ensure alignment with the Management Accounts
    • Maintain the monthly Energy BD pipeline and work with Sector Director, BD and Commercial to ensure alignment with the Management Accounts
    • Coordinate the development of the Energy Business Development management information for presenting monthly to the CNR Managing Director
    • Prepare BD insights and status information for review at the monthly meetings with the Energy Sector Director
    • Schedule and chair cross business readiness reviews for specific BD opportunities being pursued
    • Develop and monitor BD ‘bid-win’ ratio metrics to create early warning of the need for additional opportunities to be brought into the pipeline to achieve the Energy BD metrics
    • Support specific tenders where time permits
    • Help create compelling client presentations for early engagement meetings and seek opportunities to support the BD team in the delivery of these presentations where appropriate
    • Coordinate the pursuit of Energy opportunities within Clean Energy & Decarbonisation/Energy Networks & Storage/ Oil & Gas sub-sectors as well as other Natural Resources and Transportation sectors to ensure cross sector alignment is achieved, particularly with regard to client interactions
    • Manage tier 1 and core client account plans, coordinating all stakeholders to ensure clarity exists on which client meetings/interactions are required by who and by when
    • Provide support to Marketing and BD reference Energy Sector Web, Brochures, Conferences, Exhibitions etc. Provide assistance with market analysis / new lead generation

    About you

    • Previous experience within an engineering environment
    • Highly motivated and recognised as a ‘self-starter’
    • Strong communication skills
    • Experience of working effectively with senior stakeholders
    • Adept at working in a high pressure environment with tight time pressures
    • Able to work across multiple priorities concurrently
    • Proven ability to work with ambiguity
    • Strong eye for detail and producing high quality accurate deliverables
