Smart Motorways ease and expedite traffic flow by converting the hard shoulder to a running lane and using new technology to vary speed limits in response to driving conditions. Works will include significant earthworks, retaining solutions (sheet pile & gabion), bored piling, reinforced concrete gantry foundations, drainage, vehicles restraint, flexible pavement, installing a new ducted infrastructure system, installing overhead electronic signs and central barrier replacement work.

The role of Agent is a management position and therefore you will be expected to effectively control a team of Senior Engineers, Engineers and assistants to deliver the scope of your section in line with the programme and budget.
