    East Sussex Highways is a joint venture between Costain and CH2M which will bring together several aspects of highways maintenance, such as roads, pavements, drainage, street lights, traffic lights and structures that are currently run by outside contractors and the county council.

     

    Please note that this role will be based out of Ringmer with travel across the country.

    What will I be doing?

    • Deliver information leaflets to residents and businesses regarding roadworks
    • Erect customer information road signs regarding future works
    • Work with operational supervisors to co-ordinate placement of ‘No Parking Cones’ when needed
    • Meet with local businesses to inform them of upcoming roadworks in their area
    • Attend community events and consultations as requested
    • Make ‘Advanced Warning Signs’ to inform customers of upcoming works
    • Meet delivery times for Public Information Packs

    About you

    • Previous experience in a similar role
    • Full UK Driving Licence
    • Effective communication
    • Time Management
    • PC literacy
    • Organisational skills
    • Accuracy/attention to detail
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision
    • Demonstrated initiative
    • Ability to work to deadlines
