    Costain MWH has secured one of the non-infrastructure frameworks at Severn Trent and has been allocated core, projects covering Waste Water in the South and East and Clean Water in the South of Severn Trent’s service area.

    The Framework office is located in the Warwick area close to the M40.It is expected that we will be delivering Design & Build Project solutions with STW turning over c£40-60 M per annum. The Framework agreement covers both the AMP5 and 6 periods (i.e. 2010 - 2020 = total value c£400M+). Our JV Design Partner is MWH.



    What will I be doing?

    Reporting directly to the MEICA Manager and accountable to Project Manager, the fundamental requirement of this role is to assist in successfully managing the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) aspects of complex multi-disciplinary Water or Wastewater process projects. Previous experience across EPC must be balanced in order that the challenges associated with successful delivery of all phases of projects are appreciated equally – this is a role that starts at construction on site through to commissioning and handover.

      • To liaise with the supply chain partners to ensure that their works are to the design required for the project
      • Ensure quality outputs are achieved by our supply chain
      • Ensure technical input and expertise is best utilised
      • Timely production of regular reports to the project manager
      • Input and responsibility for the production of mechanical and commissioning programme and costs
      • Production of tender documents for mechanical elements
      • Supervision of supply chain on site
      • Support of the MEICA team

    About you

    • HND / Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent as a minimum
    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment, although must be able to self-manage
    • CSCS Card
    • SMSTS
    • Demonstrate ability to challenge and deliver value engineering solutions
