Costain helps to improve people’s lives by deploying technology-based engineering solutions to meet urgent national needs across the UK’s energy, water and transportation infrastructures.
The Testo’s and Downhill Lane Junctions Project is being undertaken on behalf of Highways England to improve the flow of traffic on the A19/A184 and to enhance the access to and egress from the Nissan car production plant in the area. It involves carrying out work on a busy, live stretch of highway. The major target is to construct a flyover crossing the existing Testo’s roundabout, thus improving traffic flow to and from the Tyne Tunnel.
Please note that applications for this role close on Monday 5th November.
