    The Testo’s and Downhill Lane Junctions Project is being undertaken on behalf of Highways England to improve the flow of traffic on the A19/A184 and to enhance the access to and egress from the Nissan car production plant in the area.  It involves carrying out work on a busy, live stretch of highway.  The major target is to construct a flyover crossing the existing Testo’s roundabout, thus improving traffic flow to and from the Tyne Tunnel.

    What will I be doing?

    • Managing the daily SHE paperwork to ensure quality compliance and document control.
    • Manage booking of ‘on-boarding’ and the inductions process.
    • Support the induction process with management of records and updating of project registers.
    • Completing monthly training records audit for staff and subcontractors and action forthcoming concerns.
    • Ensure daily data / records are uploaded to Mosaic and iCosnet and registers maintained post review to ensure quality compliance.
    • Assist in the monthly SHE reporting requirements such as Capture, SHE dashboards, etc.
    • Working as part of the site SHE Team in supporting the Project Team as required.
    • Coaching users in Mosaic/iCosnet as required.
    • Assist with meetings – planning / arrangements and minutes.
    • Owning the document control process for audit compliance.
    • Assist the wider project Administration team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
    • Operating information security policy to ISO27001.
    • Maintaining key working relationships with all members of the project team including client staff, subcontractors / suppliers.

    About you

    • Experience of dealing with personal details in a secure fashion
    • Previous experience in a similar role
    • The ability to operate in a speedy and efficient manner
    • The ability to empathise and communicate with people
    • The ability to work effectively within a team
    • Excellent organisation, communication and time management skills
    • Can work on own initiative when required
    • Computer literate and experience of Microsoft Office
    • Experience of working within the Highways industry desirable
