    The eight₂O Alliance is a grouping of industry leaders working in collaboration to design and deliver essential improvements to Thames Water’s ageing infrastructure. The multi - £billion contract will be delivered by the 8-partner Alliance which includes two design and build Joint Ventures. Costain’s JV will be predominantly delivering projects in the Thames Valley and Thames South Regions. There is a mix of Waste Water Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure, and Water Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure projects across the framework. 

     

    The eight2O Orientation & Thames Water Safety Passport System Co-ordinator is responsible to ensure that the Phase 1 and Phase 2 Orientation for eight2O Staff and suppliers, were required, organised and facilitated to meet eight2O programme and client needs.

     

    This is a maternity cover position for a 6 months fixed term contract, rolling contract thereafter

    What will I be doing?

     

    • Book the Phase 1 and Phase 2 Orientation facility in consultation with the eight2O Training Manager.
    • Act as the main point of contact for the Phase 1 and Phase 2 Orientation process taking bookings, confirming delegates, send Joining Instructions/details for Alliance and supplier staff
    • Record attendance, collate results and issue the Thames Water Safety Passport to all on successful completion of the Phase 1 Orientation
    • Complete appropriate Drug or Alcohol documentation in accordance with the eight2O Drug & Alcohol Testing Policy for individual Non-negative, Absconders, With Cause testing and Laboratory Results
    • Working with the Thames Water Safety Passport System (TWSPS) Administrator maintain access to the TWSPS Database
    • Produce and continually update plans to adapt to the changes that occur in the work environment
    • Produce training and Drug & Alcohol statistics for the Head of SHEW Monthly Report
    • Maintain all relevant Phase 1 and Phase 2 Orientation documentation

    About you

    • CIPD Certificate in Training Practice or equivalent.
    • Previous experience in a similar role.
    • Experience of working in a construction environment.
    • Excellent Computer literacy
