The eight₂O Alliance is a grouping of industry leaders working in collaboration to design and deliver essential improvements to Thames Water’s ageing infrastructure. The multi - £billion contract will be delivered by the 8-partner Alliance which includes two design and build Joint Ventures. Costain’s JV will be predominantly delivering projects in the Thames Valley and Thames South Regions. There is a mix of Waste Water Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure, and Water Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure projects across the framework.
Costain are looking to add a Training Officer to their Eight2o team whom will be responsible for the Delivery of Operations Training to Thames Water’s staff in a timely manner before Takeover for all eight2O Schemes/Projects during the AMP period.

As part of the eight2O Training Team the Training Officer will work closely with colleagues both within the Commissioning/MEICA Team & within Thames Water for:
Good understanding of the Systems Approach to Training (SAT). Including:
An understanding of wastewater and water treatment
Competent in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
Experience in running both Theory and Practical Training sessions
Ability to work flexibly when required
Ability to communicate at all levels and encourages two-way communication
Adopt an organized, flexible and systematic approach to work and tasking’s
Manages multiple tasks
Take ownership of and resolve problems quickly and effectively
