We are looking for a Risk Manager to be based within the Thames Valley Area who will be responsible for the risk management of one of our projects, aligning with the client's ARM system. 



What will I be doing?

  • Seen as the authority on all aspects of Project Risk Management
  • Analysis of risks including costs, legal, requirements, environmental factors and people factors
  • Consult with clients to control hazards in order to reduce or prevent losses. Influence clients to implement suggestions for exposure/risk reduction
  • Creation/streamlining of Risk Registers to accurately represent the potential risks to the project
  • Carrying out processes such as implementing health and safety measures and making business continuity plans to limit risks and prepare for worst case scenarios

About you

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Good at public speaking and thought leadership
  • Must be a self-starter, imaginative and creative with good written and verbal communication skills

  • Should have thorough understanding of commercial underwriting, finance and risk management

  • Demonstrates good understanding of ARM, @Risk or similar tools

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Risk Management or related field
