We are currently recruiting for 2no. Forensic Planners/Delay Analysts to work with the Rail sector commercial team. Responsibilities: To provide forensic planning support on multiple projects across the Costain network To assist change management and claims planning matters on multiple projects, including construction scheduling, delay and disruption analysis. Demonstration of critical paths & consequent disruption Demonstration of entitlement to EoT occurring as a result of delay/ disruption/ loss of efficiency. Production rate analysis and work cycle analysis to demonstrate entitlement to EoT Drafting of claim and negotiation strategy Project based tasks to include fact-finding to detailed analysis, quantification of delay and damages, Review of master and construction schedules in liaison with works package managers and contractors Preparation in anticipation for the defences to counterclaims and advice regarding retrospective analysis for EOTs, prolongation costs, disruption, programme critiques and delay analysis critiques.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills Extensive work experience in Site based planning Experience in change management, claims preparation and forensic planning Experience in delay analysis and schedule analysis and report writing Strong IT skills using Primavera, MS Project, Asta and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Flexibility and demonstrable creative problem solving skills Strong interpersonal skills are required and ability to work as a member of a team Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential Qualifications/Educational Requirements Preferably degree qualified in a construction related subject Chartered Membership or working towards desirable
